Summary
Nick Nelson is done with relationships. Every one he's been in so far has proven to be fruitless and left him doubting he could ever find the right relationship where someone will actually be his friend as well as his partner as he struggles through rugby as well as trying to find himself.
Facing new challenges hasn't always been an issue with Nick Nelson, but he has struggles with opening up about his issues in the past.

Charlie Spring has been able to find some semblance of control in his life for once that doesn't harm him as it did quite a bit in the past. Owning a cafe/bookstore has opened up a whole new world of opportunities for him. A chance to make new friends, start fresh, and unload. At least he hopes so.
His past still haunts him, and even with the help of professionals, his struggles will always resurface at times. Just as he is finding himself back from his dark void, a chance encounter with a rugby lad changes everything.

Summary
A cancelled wedding. Two fighting for the same man: an ATP champion and a promising young man.
Patroclus knows there is something off; he has been living every day like nothing really matters. Cancelling the marriage will change things up, and he can start again. A new, improved self. New beginnings. But then Achilles shows up at the Biology Institute, and Patroclus' plans go down the drain. Painful resentment comes up to the surface. How should he handle the hurricane in his chest? How should he manage Paris begging him to come back to him? How should he keep himself together when everything starts falling apart?
OR
Patroclus cancels his wedding because he sees Achilles on TV. On the Monday he was supposed to be on honeymoon with Paris, Achilles crashes back into his life.

When Patroclus killed a boy, he expected to go to juvie, not the relatively nice Phthia Institute for Wayward Boys, filled with rich kids and petty crimes. Patroclus surely does not fit in there.
But what happens when the institute turns out to be just as brutal as prison and a certain Golden Boy takes a special interest in Patroclus? Will he fall for Golden Boy’s seductive tactics, or keep his head down for the rest of his sentence?

I think Patroclus spent his whole life starving. Starving for quiet. Starving for rest. Starving for hands that held gently enough not to hurt him. Achilles loved him like something holy. The world loved him like something temporary.
This was always going to end badly.
