Half a decade after Viktor leaves Piltover for good, a fragment of Hexcore permanently adhered to his soul, an old friend comes to him for help. This wouldn't be an issue, if the same old friend hadn't spent the last five years trying to hit him, very hard, with a really big hammer.
“You’re not real,” Viktor repeated, closing his eyes. Even with the knowledge that this was a dream, the gentle touch unraveled him. There was an impact crater where his heart should be.
The calloused pad of Jayce's thumb found the corner of Viktor’s mouth. “All right. I’ll bite – what’s your evidence for this hypothesis?”
Viktor smiled into the touch, felt it tug against Jayce's thumbprint. “Isn’t it obvious? You haven’t tried to kill me yet.”- Language:

The house was the largest, maybe the oldest, in the poor and predominantly black neighborhood. A crowd of people, many in pajamas and robes, watched from across the street. While John was grabbing his oxygen he noticed one distraught older woman in a faded purple nightgown seek out Cap.
As he and Roy approached, he saw that her already graying hair was dusted with ashes. She was crying and gasping about her baby.
Cap had a supportive hand on her arm and had been listening to her intently. As soon as he and Roy were close enough, he said, “There’s one more in the house, her granddaughter, 7 years old, probably on the 2nd floor. Go!”
They did.

“MOVE!” Roy snarled, dragging Johnny and they started toward the stairs once more.
However, before Roy could turn to head down, his world tilted violently and he slammed to the ground, a sudden, heavy pull ripping him violently across the floor and then weightlessness greeted him with horrifying clarity.
His heart knew before his mind and his body acted before he thought.
Their rope had snapped, and Roy reached out to grab it.

Day 22 Prompt: Borrowed"Can I borrow your boyfriend?" she quietly asked, voice nary a whisper, and Roy shot her a strange look. She knew Roy would lay there all day for their boyfriend, giving up his own comfort and needs for the needs of Johnny, but she also knew that Roy would complain about his back the second Johnny was out of earshot if he stayed in his awkward position any longer.
"He's yours too," he reminded her, as if she could forget. Joanne bit back a laugh but grinned to show she knew, but right now he was Roy's, or rather, Roy was his. With the way John's hands were twisted into the fabric of Roy's shirt, and the almost possessive curl of Roy's arm's around John, she wasn't sure which.
