Summary
Once Neil gets to about page 6 when looking over his play, he feels his eyebrows furrow. Now, obviously since the play was about the Poets as a whole, there wasn’t really a main character. There would be a more prominent character in each given scene, but Neil made sure to avoid making himself the one who narrated and directed the entire story.
But once he was about halfway through rereading what he had so far, he realized that every character more or less revolved around one Poet in particular. Every scene managed to include the character, there were always in-depth descriptions of what he and his facial expressions looked like, and everyone either went to him for help or obviously valued his opinion highly.
Neil had named the character William, and he was realizing now that he had included a surprising amount of descriptions about this character’s blond hair, blue eyes, and unassuming but devout personality.
Oh shit, Neil thinks to himself, I accidentally made Todd the main character.
Or in which it's 1960, the Poets' senior year at Welton, and Neil's writing a secret play, his magnum opus, but there's just one problem: Todd keeps getting in the way.

Summary
Peter is fine, anyways. His boss might fire him soon, the Avengers might arrest him soon, the principal might expel him soon, but none of it has happened yet. And his dad—
“You didn’t get my coffee,” his dad says, halfway through his burrito. He has been in a state of low, simmering irritation all evening, and apparently this is how long it took for him to find a reason to blame Peter for it.
“You didn’t tell me to get coffee.”
“Do you have eyes?”
“Yes,” Peter says. “I have eyes.”
“So you could have checked if we needed coffee without me telling you every little thing, Jesus Christ.”

Summary
“I know we just met, Peter, but Tony is just down the hall and so very excited to finally meet you."
She was wrong, of course, Tony Stark was not excited to meet him. If he was excited to meet him, he would have met him at some point in his 13 years of life. Not now, not only after he had nowhere else in the world to go. Now he’s just stuck with him, unable to pretend Peter didn't exist, as he'd done since the day he was born.
Finally gathering the courage, Peter nodded and walked from the elevator, being led by the two adults down a long hallway. They stopped in front of a closed door, Ms. Potts knocked twice before pushing the door open.
Sitting at a small table was the one and only, Tony Stark.
Their eyes met instantly and Peter lost the ability to breathe properly. It wasn’t as if he’d never seen Tony Stark on TV before, but this was different. This was not Iron Man flying around fighting bad guys, this wasn’t smarmy, grinning Tony Stark mouthing off to reports at a press conference. This wasn't the larger than life presence that loomed over New York, a protector, a genius, an inventor.
This was Tony Stark, Peter's biological father.

Summary
"Peter laughed, leaning back in his chair. ‘You’re not a bad performer. I can see why you took to the stage – perfect for lying.’
‘Get out.’
Peter stood up and marched around the table to Johnny, standing toe to toe. It felt like standing near a fireplace. He gripped Johnny’s pearl necklace – it was warm. ‘I’ll get that interview, Mr. Storm, I promise you. For now, I’ll enjoy your ruse. I don’t like liars, and it usually ends badly for people I don’t like.’"When Dr Reed Richards and his team hide away from the public after an expedition to Iceland, Jameson enlists Peter Parker to find the scoop – but what Peter finds is Johnny Storm and a whole lot more than he’d bargained for.

Summary
When Johnny and Peter step through a magic doorway, the Inhuman Eldrac, they are sent on a trip through the multiverse where they encounter version after version of themselves, all at different stages of their lives…all of whom are deeply in love. Could Eldrac possibly be trying to tell them something?
***
“So how did you figure out you were in love with your Johnny?” Peter asks.“Huh,” Elderly Peter says. “You know what, kid, it’s easier if I just show you.” He takes two steps over to the bed Peter's sprawled out on and whacks Peter on the back of the head, good and hard, and then barks, “You’re in love with him, you idiot!”
“Ow!” Peter complains, rubbing at the back of his head. “That hurt!”
“Well,” Elderly Peter says, not sounding very sorry at all, “you have a very thick skull. It’s going to take a while for that to sink in, but it will eventually.” He sighs. "Make that a very long while."
