The sweet vision bloomed behind his eyes: Cersei Lannister, so small a child, swelling grotesquely. The difficult pregnancy, the screams in the birthing bed that would echo. The blood. There would be so much sweet blood. A stillborn babe, twisted and silent. Or perhaps a living one, sickly, a weakling—one that could die within moons. By nature's hands or otherwise. Tywin would have his royal marriage. And then he would have a dead daughter and a dead grandchild. He would have his ambition repaid in ashes and shrouds.
