    Occasionally, Slipstream is reminded of why she was built, and why she exists.

    Everytime she smiles with teeth that aren't her own - everytime she lets out a bitter, sharp laugh that doesn’t entirely feel like her own, she is reminded of him. Slipstream was built to be cannon fodder for a megalomaniac. She was built in Starscream’s likeness, and spent much of the early days of her life following behind him dutifully.

    Yet, when Blackarachnia danced with her, she feels something raw open up inside of her soul. When the technorganic mech interlaces their hands together, and sways to the rhythm of a jazz piece, Slipstream feels something bright - something shimmering, burgeoning, and raw.
