"His velvety voice and the concern in it sent soft electric shocks through your brain. You knew—very well—how observant Pierrot was. But you never expected him to notice your current state. Your stomach churned, but you hadn’t even realized you were trembling. You looked at your hands—the shaking was subtle, no one would notice.
But Pierrot wasn’t ‘no one’… you had to remember that.
