Summary
Esmeray, the last living Elytrian (superior subspecies of avian), encountered Nyxandros during a fight against Avian hunters in the bordering forests of their home empire, Greater Woodlandsa. Nyxandros absorbed himself into Esmeray and is now a goop living inside of them. Together they must face hardships as they fight against their corrupt government, avian hunters, humans, neighboring enemy empires, and villain bosses. Will they prevail against the darkness, or will they meet the fate that every Elytrian has met before them? Is Esmeray truly the last of their kind?

Summary
Wriothesley walks in before the Iudex is able to hide or come up with any sort of contingency plan – he just freezes on his desk, eyes wide on the approaching form of the curious Duke. The man briefly looks around – no doubt searching for him – before locking his gaze on the otter. “Hello there, my good sir,” he greets, hands on his knees to reach Neuvillette’s height, “Would you happen to know Monsieur Neuvillette's whereabouts?”
Oh, precious Duke; otters cannot speak human language.
Alternatively, as translated by his otterly ludicrous vocal chords: “Kyu.”
Neuvillette humbly wishes upon a star for a single day of peace. He gets taken in by Duke Wriothesley as an otter instead.

Summary
“So let me, then.” Wriothesley leaned forward, resting his chin on Neuvillette’s shoulder. “Let me take care of you.”
“I am the Chief Justice of the Courts of Fontaine,” Neuvillette protested. “I do not require anyone’s care. I am the Iudex, I am–”
“–full of shit,” Wriothesley cut him off as casually as if commenting on the weather. Neuvillette spluttered, the blush on his cheeks darkening even further.
“Excuse me?!”
“You’re excused,” the Duke answered smoothly.
Or, an alternate ending to the 4.1 Archon Quest. Neuvillette is battered and exhausted from forcing back the Primordial Sea, and just wants to get back to his office so he can regain his strength without anyone worrying.
Spoiler alert: Wriothesley worries.
