Summary
Trinity is beyond burnt out.
She's not sleeping properly, she has little-to-no social life anymore, and it seems like no one has her back for anything.
Something's got to change, but she knows that's unlikely to happen because no one's ever really been too concerned about her — which has been made abundantly clear over her life.
But sometimes, there are these things that happen to her from the most unlikely of sources — a glance from across the E.R., a gentle hand over hers, a word of encouragement — that make her think she's something worth caring about. After a case that hits too close to home, something shifts, and all of a sudden Trinity feels like going to work isn't equivalent to being thrust into the seventh circle of hell.
Funny what a work crush can do to you.Trinity really wants to believe that the growing tension and prolonged eye-contact aren't figments of her imagination, but this really just seems too good to be true. This is just a big daydream, right? There's no way her breathtakingly beautiful boss is actually into her... right?

Basically Trinity starts falling ridiculously hard for Baran, who, she doesn't realize (quite obliviously), has already fallen first.Bookmarked by Cranbearry

Summary
"Has anyone ever told you that you have incredibly keen observation skills, Dr. Santos?"
Trinity's hand stopped mid reach for the orders as she whirled in surprise towards Al-Hashimi who was still standing in the doorway, hands on her hips.
"Ohhh Robo-Doc has jokes, huh?"
"Very funny," her tone was flat, but a quirk of the lip betrayed her.
Apparently, today was a day of firsts.
Or,
The trials and tribulations of Trinity Santos trying to keep her distance from Baran Al-Hashimi.

Summary
Trinity is not a kid person.
The same way some people don’t like cats and dogs, Trinity does not like children. They’re annoying as shit, stubborn and frustrating.
But she is, unfortunately, great with them.
So when her new attending, Baran Al-Hashimi asks her to talk to her son, in a last ditch attempt to figure out why he’s struggling—she’s not quite sure why she says yes.
