Young Min groaned and slammed his drink onto the counter. His brows furrowed as his eyes narrowed desperately into Seung Tak’s. The young man’s lip curled into a smirk as he pushed his knee farther into the doctor’s crotch. Sounding a low, muffled groan throughout the packed pub made by Young Min.
“You’re making me go crazy, Go Seung Tak.” Young Min yowled, using his hand to sway Seung Tak’s knee. Seung Tak stared in astonishment at the site of the doctor, whimpering blissfully as his trousers began to tighten.
“Why aren’t you with your girl?” Seung Tak questioned as the atmosphere began to feel like one of his dreams.
“Go Seung Tak... don’t make me say it.” His eyes glared drunkenly into the younger man’s eyes. “You know how I feel. You know that I’m a wreck without you.”

“Of course not.” Minsik's mouth turns downwards in an almost-pout, an expression that's odd for his age – the kind of showy gesture he makes when he believes he has the upper hand in a scenario. “I've simply realized that my career path goes so much more smoothly when I'm working with you, instead of against you.”
“Really?” Yije smiles, cocking his head. “I'd thought you would be making a move to take over the presidency at some point. I didn't think you had it in you to completely pledge your loyalty to me. Unless there's something else that you want.”

You blushed and turned your eyes back to your book, but out of your periphery you saw the man quickly throw a couple things in his toolbag before walking back towards the house. You braved another glance and noticed that his face was bright red at this point, and as he reached the door he met your eyes briefly, an unreadable expression on his face, before pushing inside.

Truth was that he was feeling jealousy towards Dong-ju and some sort of concern that, perhaps, he was slowly being replaced as Dr. Baek’s trusty sidekick. And, realistically, he should feel offended to be put under the ‘sidekick’ category—he was a surgeon, too, goddamn it—but deep down he was accepting of it. Jae-won didn’t mind being Dr. Baek’s shadow if it meant he got to watch the man work every hour of the day. He didn’t mind being called Anus or Slave No. 1 if it meant he could pick up Dr. Baek’s brain out like a parasite, leeching off of his knowledge and skills. Jae-won truly did not mind.
