    Angsty moments.

Lots of double twist. Emotional pain

    Summary

Judy Hopps is a hopeless romantic who’s always dreamed of finding her Prince Charming.

Nick Wilde is a cynic who doesn’t believe in love.

They’re best friends. And somehow… that has always been enough.

    But suddenly, it isn’t.

Because it’s easy to call it platonic…until you have to watch someone else take your place.

    Summary

Nick Wilde moves in with Judy Hopps and immediately discovers a problem: they are doing everything married couples do, except for the part where they’ve never been on a date.

Somewhere between shared evenings on the couch, accidental “I love yous,” and learning how to ask for what they need without falling apart, Nick starts testing how much happiness he’s allowed to want—and how much steadiness Judy is already offering him without realizing it.

Everyone else already knows what this is. Nick is just trying to survive it.

A (maddening, mentally insane) story about domestic intimacy, boundary negotiations, paralyzing anxiety, and two idiots who haven’t noticed they’re already home.

    Bookmarker's Notes

    Zootopia 2
    Judy shows signs of depression
The slow burn abd reluctance to speak clearly is typical of fandom tropes. (But too frustrating)
The explicit scenes are not really explicit.

Some of the reasoning for why Judy thinks they need to be separated are confusing.

But there are a few bright spots. Not one of my favorites though.

Nick takes a moment to reflect on himself. Self doubt creeps in as he wonders whether he deserves Judy in his Life. Let alone a new one, with her.

    Summary

They weren’t drunk. They weren’t confused. They just didn’t want to talk.

They told themselves it was casual. That sex didn’t have to mean anything if no one said it out loud.

But casual doesn’t survive jealousy, late-night silences, or the fear of being just another name on a long list.

    Judy wants clarity.
Nick wants her—without risking the words that could lose her.

No one willing to say it first.

Nick and Judy have a casual night, mistaken or not it leads to wrong assumption.
