Summary
What really happened at Saltwic. Finan finds Sihtric in the midst of a flashback and cares for him. Their relationship deepens as a result, leading to love deeper than that of a brother-in-arms.
Mostly canon compliant, aside from the fact that I have willed SW (Sihtric's wife, we miss her daily) into nonexistence, and some dramatized/fleshed out backstory for Sihtric. The timeline is also probably a little off, as I'm definitely stretching how long they spend at Saltwic out. In the show, it's a week or two at most, and here, it's more like a month or two. It doesn't do much to affect the story, but it is a breach from canon.

Summary
There are not nearly enough fics about Finan and Osferth (nor Finan and Sihtric, but that's another matter), so I am being the change I want to see in the world. I love their friendship in the show so much, and there's a lot of meaningful glances that gave me way too many ideas, so here ya go.
