Summary
It takes a lot. It really, really does.
Neteyam is not one for violence. The world has a delicate order, a balance. A day to night, an east to west. For what Neteyam does not hold, his brother Lo’ak keeps- they are the balance, the bond, a people. What Neteyam lacks Lo’ak fills, and visa versa.
It’s a balance. And, for the majority of this moment, he’s kept the scales that way. He hasn’t done anything rash; nothing risky, nothing dangerous. Nothing to get anyone hurt.
And yet.
When the scales do dip, they plunge. Neteyam doesn’t see, doesn’t hear, doesn’t feel a fucking thing.
He takes after his mother, in that aspect.
For when Neteyam sees red, it is dark, pungent, and vicious.

Aonung gets injured when the Fire Na’vi come. Neteyam, to say lightly, doesn’t take it well.
