Summary
It's another Eragon rewrite. I think you have all learned by now that though I thoroughly enjoy the individual characters, I'm not sold on Paolini's version of events. Eragon and Murtagh are raised in Morzan's castle, together, at least for a little while. Everything changes when Eragon is sent/taken away from the estate. He is an angry child, but when you're raised by a forsworn, there isn't much else you can expect.
This summary will be changed as the story goes on. As per usual, not following any sort of guideline and writing whatever comes out of my brain. I really should be focusing on Disparate Book II and Home, but this has been nagging at me and now I'm writing three stories and trying to keep them straight.
I fixed chapter three. Part of it got all jumbled when I was editing and I didn't realize. Sorry!
Eragon is ten at the start of the story and twenty when things really get going.
Eragon has poor mental health and develops severe PTSD. People with poor mental health make poor decisions and he makes a few of those. There aren't exactly any therapist running around. Things will be rough, but will get better. His mental health is a major factor in this story.

Summary
Eragon doesn't grow up the same as the books. A bit of a rework if you will. Well, its completely different. There will be some similar situations, Eragon doesn't start out with the Varden. Eragon never got to know his own family, he was taken as an infant and raised in Uru'baen. His life was far from ideal and he has faced many struggles to get to where he is.
*Originally this was meant to be just changing Eragon's circumstances, but I have changed much of it including character ages and I've taken some other liberties. I hope you read and enjoy*
Revising first several chapters while continuing to update with new chapters.This story is now complete, but might have some revisions.
So a coworker saw the title of this and thought it was a typo. Its not, I promise.

Summary
As the Battle of Urû'baen draws to a close, Galbatorix utters two words that tear the fabric of Eragon's life asunder:
"Be not."
While the Eldunarí are able to protect his companions, Eragon knows that their power won't be enough. Unwilling to see his brother and his dragon, his liege, his partner-of-mind-and-heart, and his—shieldmate? beloved?—dearest friend perish in the blast, he casts a spell guaranteeing their lives: but at the cost of his own. The un-making of Galbatorix is the un-making of himself, too, and Eragon is ready to make that sacrifice if it means bringing about an age of peace.
Though, when he wakes up in a familiar forest clearing, faced with a familiar blue stone, and with suspicious and frightening gaps in his memory, he cannot help but wonder what forces are at play…and what those forces would ask him to sacrifice now.
An end-of-Inheritance divergence that puts Eragon in something of a time loop, forcing choices upon him that both redefine and reinforce his very being. What will Eragon do now, knowing that all of his actions lead, have led, and will lead to the inevitable end of all he holds dear?

“It-it’s not attacking us.” The boy hatchling murmured. The chief didn’t seem to hear him but the girl hesitated at his words, looking cautiously at the Night Fury like she couldn’t understand him anymore. But the Night Fury couldn’t care less because he recognized this voice. It sounded like the voice from just a few moments ago – the Viking who came looking for him. He narrowed his eyes at the Viking who gulped loudly and looked guiltily away, as if sensing the blame the Night Fury was aiming at him. “Oh, this is a nightmare…”
Right before he gets found out, still tied up in the woods, by the Vikings, Toothless is being taken to a room with an adult Viking and two hatchlings and they all watch scenes from the future that might just change their perspective about everything they know to be true.

Summary
Most of the islands inside the archipelago suffered from consistent dragon raids. Berk was no exception. The more the dragons came, the more determined they were to fight just as hard and protect their own.
And then came the curse. New baby Berkians were born to the violent life with the raging raids, but these ones had one difference—they had marks on their skin, like tattoos of dragons.
Before they could so much as lay a hand on either of the babies, lightning struck the earth. Two figures appeared out of thin air, standing between them and the condemned babies. One of the figures was a tall young man with unruly auburn hair. The other was a black-as-night dragon that was curled around the man’s legs, sharp teeth bared as it snarled, glaring at the Berkians like it wanted to blast them to bits.

Then, Hiccup had no mark on his skin connecting him to a dragon.
Now, Astrid is looking for two people - one who'd help her save Berk and another who'd help her save herself.

ending was too abrupt.
solid story overall. probably could add another 50k-100k words if they properly finished the story. author definitely got tired of writing/ran out of inspiration.8/10
