Summary
Word on the street was that Spamton and Tenna had reconciled.
The only people who knew that this rumour wasn’t necessarily true were Spamton and Tenna themselves, on account of the fact that reconciliation implied that there was some measure of open communication, forgiveness, and acceptance between the two of them. The truth of the matter was far sadder: Spamton and Tenna were the only people who tolerated the other’s company, and so they found themselves together more often than not because it was preferable to being alone. Spamton had successfully swindled, cheated, taunted, and otherwise ostracized himself from every denizen in Cyber City and TV World, with those from the Card Kingdom keeping a wide berth from him based on reputation alone, whereas Tenna was met with a mixture of callous resentment and worse still, looks of deep, lingering pity that were only garnered when one had an inadvisably publicly televised mental collapse.

Spamton and Tenna reunite, but neither is as they remember. They manage to work it out in the sequel.

What a perfect plan. He needs to figure out how this happened, and how he can put an end to it. He needs to understand why he’s been resurrected, and if there’s a way to reverse whatever dark magic is keeping his soul in this world. He needs to go and learn the full history of the Waylons.

Richie Lipschitz finds himself shambling Hatchetfield High's Halls after a series of test, after test, after test and a long night of reluctant studying.
He's tired. Wayyy too tired than what his body can handle. His eyes are blurry, his body feels like it's zipping in and out of REM, and he can't tell left from up. But then he sees it. His good friend Peter Spankofski. He won't mind if Richie leans on him, right? Just a hug. They've done worse...
So, walking up to him, Richie opens his arms, and scoops them around Peter's body. Letting out a deep contented sigh. He's about to talk about the absolute slaughter that was his tests when he notices something. The perfume is wrong. Peter doesn't even wear perfume... This shirt is different... and where are his suspenders? Then he hears that voice.
"The fuck?"
