He settled for another shot, this time drinking it straight from the bottle. He still refused to use that fucking tumbler. He wouldn’t use it, but the draw to thumb at the gold was irresistible and he couldn’t stop himself from reaching out.
Felicia had held its triplet. Many times. Had stared into it before telling them about Violet- before she was Violet. She had sipped from it, shot from it, cried into it. She’d picked the name Powder while thumbing its rim just as Silco was doing now.
Fuck. He was doing a shit job of avoiding the past.
Another shot downed, then a second that was really a fifth, then a third that was really a sixth. If he couldn’t stop thinking about then on his own then he’d get so wasted he couldn’t think at all.
My own therapeutic take on what could possibly convince Silco to forgive Vander, feat. my obsession with Silco and his perfect fucking face.

Gods, they could drool.
“And a hazelnut torte. For you. It pairs well with Anduril’s breath.”
At those words their heart practically drops into their stomach. He sounds so vulnerable, almost afraid.

He begs her to end him and she refuses. What is left of his mind sobs with her, pleads in a voice so gravelly and gnarled. She sobs. Her companions watch on. Zevran watches on.
She sobs and drives her blade through his ribs. Blood pours over her hand and the hilt and down her arm. She sobs.

Summary
Fenris did not know her. They’d spent a fair amount of time together since they’d first met. Often in his rundown hovel of a mansion with more than enough wine between the pair of them. Sometimes in her house, the library a tranquil backdrop to the conversations they shared. But despite all that, she did not want to burden him with knowing her and so she’d been careful not to unload onto him.
But, with just those words, she realized her understood her. Maybe she had not given him everything, not offered up the tightly barred pieces of her soul, but he understood why. He understood the cadence in her tone or the words she left unsaid and, she realized when looking back, the subtle changes in her form that denoted so much more than she realized.
