Ghost hands his over, doesn't even think about it until he sees Soap's lip close around the shine of his own saliva. His breath hitches, riveted beyond belief. "Kinda makes ye wonder, ye ken? If there is God, and He's off doin' whatever, what might come in and feed off what He left behind?"
Things evolve to feed. Hunger is the oldest emotion there is.

Told me that he didn’t want to hear it. I didn’t…I didn’t bring it up again. He made it pretty clear,” he bit the side of his tongue, shaking his head. “He made it pretty fucking clear he didn’t want me to be saying it at all.”

Summary
Ghost has issues in his life. This was a well known fact among anyone who had ever laid eyes on the mask-wearing Lieutenant. And Ghost himself wouldn’t deny that. His regular check-ins with his therapist and aforementioned mask-wearing habit make it a lost cause to dispute anyway.
But there was a new issue in Ghost’s life. This issue’s name was Soap.Or: Ghost can’t keep his hand out of his pants when his sergeant starts bulking up to spar against him.
