    Summary

Then Bucky licks his lips, tip of his tongue just grazing the sensitive skin of Steve’s ear and Steve moans. Nothing close to the surge of lust behind his ribs, but a tiny, breathy sound all the same. Bucky doesn’t react—he must not have heard. Though a minute later he curls his fingers and extends them again, moving just slow enough for it to be a caress.

Just tip your head into his touch. He’ll take the lead and trace the folds of your ear with his tongue until you can’t keep quiet any more. Then he’ll smother your desperate little noises with his mouth, fingers twisting in your hair. Kissing deeply, tongues reaching to declare your filthy intentions. Find his knee with your hand and slide wolfishly up his thigh until you reach the bulge behind his fly. Palm him through his trousers until he’s panting in your mouth, until he’s pressing his forehead to yours, hips bucking, and you can see his dark eyes, glinting in the screen’s flickering light, pleading—

Steve jolts back to the present. The credits are rolling and Bucky is reading them as well. The screen blacks and two fluorescent lights buzz to life. Bucky loosens his hand from Steve’s head, welcoming the world back in.

    Summary

I began writing Reprise in November 2015, after having a hankering for a good time travel AU and then being unable to find one that fit my niche craving. I wrote chapters 1 through 3 as a casual experiment, a kind of character study of Ben Kenobi.

Half a million words and nearly a decade later, here we are.

The series consists of four main parts:
    Reprise I
    Reprise II
    Reprise III
    Reprise IV
    Reprise V (COMING SOON)

As well as a few supplementary entries:
    The Visionary (fanart)
    The Pragmatist (fanart)
Still Here (oneshot, set between Reprise III and Reprise IV but has spoilers for Reprise IV)

    Have fun reading!

An in-depth deep-dive of a fix-it fic. There's so much character work here, and not just on Ben Kenobi--it's everyone, from Qui-Gon to Dooku to Anakin. Even our background characters are so well fleshed out and grow and change so naturally that this feels like a carefully crafted study spanning decades. The pacing is great; the high stakes ebb into low stakes and vice versa, a wonderful flow of time and events that braid together seamlessly. This work is exquisite in its imagination and attention to detail, and for an AU, it still adheres deeply to the source material while creating something completely new. This is a long read, but worth it. I'm waiting for the next part with baited breath!

    Summary

It was his third year in Constanța, Romania.
He was repairing the mast of a fishing boat that had been damaged by huge waves at sea. The autumn fishing season had already lasted several days, with the waves on the sea gradually growing higher and the weather slightly warmer than usual.
And it was then that he saw Steve. On the white sandy beach beside the Ovidiu Square.

Can't stop thinking about this one. It's hard to do fic that thoroughly detaches itself from the mood/tone of the original Marvel movies, without making it feel completely out of character--especially an AU. This manages to create an entirely new perspective, tone, and universe but is still very recognizably Steve and Bucky. And excellent and unflinching look into history, as well as a post-winter soldier character study on a man built of suffering.

    Summary

“It doesn’t matter if this Luke Orleia isn’t a sith. He’s a rogue force user enacting vigilante justice in the outer rim and calling himself a Jedi,” Windu’s holo flickers on his last word.
Anakin thinks of the man he met on Tatooine all those months ago. His— his maybe brother?
“I don’t think he ever called himself a Jedi.”
All eyes turn on Anakin where he stands next to his former master. He can feel the pressure of them.
“It doesn’t matter if he's never said it, Skywalker,” Windu taps open a holo displaying a ship painted with a pair of stars rising between flared wings that, from a certain view, could be mistaken for the Jedi wings and sword of light.
    Well, Kark.

Most likely the best-written piece of fanfiction I have ever come across; possibly the best long-running piece of literature I have read, bar none. A look into what the ATLA world would be like if it wasn't a children's show and study of the nature of war. One of the best looks into the characterization of the cast of the show, but most specifically Zuko. An incredible study of Sokka's place in a bender-ruled world, as well as a real insight into how a relationship would develop between him and Zuko.

/“Your blood is my blood,” Zuko said. “There is nothing I won’t do or give to protect her. My honour or my life.”

Sokka swallowed shakily, his hands coming up to cup Zuko’s cheeks. “Thank you. Thank you.”/
