The Hunter stood, tall and foreboding. She had long since shed her mortal skin. This was no longer the good hunter, before Alfred stood a beast that was wholly unrecognizable. It was taller than any man with a shape he could hardly comprend. Its body was thick with bulky muscle and the writhing mass of tendrils that surrounded it.
The beast had called Alfred from the dead. For what reason? Alfred could not be sure
