Summary
Y'know, there's a quote I saw somewhere that authors of FF become writers because the fanfic they wanted didn't exist. That's pretty much the gist of this, aside from the fact that I like writing.
This is a self-insert of the Reader falling in love with Death from Supernatural because very selfishly, I love Death very much and wish he hadn't died. He is an objectively neutral character and never killed on purpose (that much, anyway) except when Lucifer put him on a leash.
So ANYWAYS, a summary is that you, the reader (using fem pronouns, I might do other works with male or gender-neutral terms), has a slow-burn romance with Death himself. You travel with the boys as a friendly hunter buddy, the same associations as Sam and Dean.
Oh, also I HC that Dean and Cas are together, like a normal person.

At this, you bark out a laugh. "Spouse? I've never had a dancing partner at the Flower Festival, you think I could have a spouse?" you cackle, laughing so hard you end up curled on your side as you clutch your abdomen. But your giggles quickly subside as choked sobs escape you instead, "oh, fuck, this hurts so bad. Does it… does it have to be with someone else? Can't I just…? Y'know…?" You make an obscene gesture with your hand. Despite the fact that you're writhing around on this man's floor, apparently experiencing demonic levels of horniness, you're somehow too shy to say the word 'masturbate'.
