Summary
Krell, if possible, started to turn more red.
He pulled himself away from Obi-Wan, putting space in between them. The man’s jaw clenched and his left eye seemed to be starting to twitch.
“What I was saying, Kenobi,” he spat out through clenched teeth, “is that someone built a pond in the middle of our football field.”
Obi-Wan blinked. Then blinked again as his brain tried to comprehend what Krell was saying.
“Why?”

Summary
"Part of Angel wished they would both forget he was there so maybe he wouldn’t have to watch the thinly veiled rage under layers of lust. But then, Vox was looking at him, not with hate, with… want, as if he’d forgotten his scripted resentments, falling prey to Val’s coaxing."
Or: Vox has always been indifferent to Angel, no matter Val's insistence, until he isn't.

Summary
Ghost hasn't gone mad… yet.
Johnny might change that. The world is full of alphas becoming insane with too few omegas to sate their need for a mate. The only solution to keep the government's hands clean seems to be letting the affected fight each other to death.
The winners get a mate and their lives back as a prize.Ghost has resisted the pull of his instincts for longer than any other alpha—proving that he's broken far beyond repair.
He has come to terms with it, resigned to die on the field.
Alone.
His heart hasn't gotten the message.Bookmarked by DeathDove

Summary
He wasn't ready to be a civilian again. The idea filled him with dread until his stomach turned, the vast wide open future of nothing. So he signed his name again, and again, and again, a different, more exciting kind of dread settling in his bones at what he was really agreeing to, and packed his bags.
Made a friend and got a flatmate on the same day, in the same person. Bought his boat a month later.
And met him.
Soap enjoys his new life, especially since he spends considerable time getting to know Ghost, a shark-human hybrid captured and kept for study who won't let anyone close enough to do that. Aside from Soap, that is.

Summary
It was quiet for less than thirty minutes before the sounds of the humans returned, this time an awkward scramble of many footsteps and nearly as many voices. They came into view only a moment later, and his eyes widened at the sight of the large blue tarp-thing hung between two poles being carried by more than a dozen humans, each straining under the obvious weight.
A massive caudal fin hung from one end of the tarp, but it had been so heavily wrapped in soaked towels to keep it from drying out that it was impossible to see in any real detail. It was also, Johnny noticed with sudden unease, completely, utterly limp.
