Summary
Sometimes on good days, when his dad wasn’t screaming and shouting at everything that moved, he’d put Bob in the truck and drive out on the 72 and go fishing with him in the evening. Flashlights in the dark, streaking dim across expanses of black water, muggy air, mosquitoes. Little red eyes looking back out of the water. They’d sit and guess how big the gators were from the distance between the eyes. You’d better watch yourself out here, Bobby, his dad would say sometimes, and pretend to start to push him forward over the boardwalk with a big hand splayed on his back. And he’d laugh and laugh, like it was funny.
Bob had never thought it was funny. But he’d learned early on to laugh along.
~~~~~~~
When Bob tries out a new solution for his wellbeing, he's advised by Barnes to keep to a schedule and avoid any variables. But this means pulling away from the New Avengers (and Yelena) for a while, and even though the results are fantastic, all that pent-up need for connection and affection has to go somewhere when the adjustment period is over.
Summary
Three months after New York was swallowed by a nightmarish blanket of psychological agony, Robert Reynolds was once again just Bob.
And Just Bob liked boring French New Wave and Depeche Mode and pictures of baby Highland cows. He stacked fries in his burgers like Jenga towers. He liked Jane Kenyon, Allen Ginsberg. Made a mean Lasagna alla Bolognese. Played guitar (kind of). Knew how to jumpstart a car (pretty well, actually). He liked chess.
He’d spent most of his life high, bridging sober gaps with odd jobs and side hustles and jail. He’d stolen from everyone who cared enough to let him into their home.
Robert Reynolds wasn’t Sentry, he wasn’t the Void—but he had been.
Wasn't it only a matter of time before he would be again?
After the Void descended on New York, Yelena adjusts to the life her sister led—dealing with PR managers, government endorsements, and a team she’s only recently learned to tolerate.
And then there’s the Bob thing.
And the Bob thing is super fucking complicated.- Language:
“Heimdall.”
Summary
What would you do in the villain’s place?
An adult consciousness wakes in the body of three-year-old Joffrey Baratheon. He's armed with foreknowledge and a lifetime's worth of experience… and it is not enough. He is still Cersei's son, still Robert's "heir," and still sitting on a secret that could kill him and everyone he loves. And the more he builds to protect himself, the more he has to lose. This is a story about governance and grief, about the cost of necessary choices, and about what it means to love people who have the power to destroy you.
It is also, somewhat accidentally, the tale of how King Joffrey I Baratheon completely revolutionized the Westerosi shipbuilding industry, and with it altered the balance of power across the entire known world.
Summary
As an elite ER doctor recruited for a desperate suicide mission to save humanity, you’re a master of keeping your emotions in a tightly locked box—until Dr. Ryland Grace walks back into your life. Ten years after high school graduation, your brilliant, bumbling former rival turns your carefully structured triage of survival into an agonizingly beautiful chaos, forcing a decade of unspoken grief and a fierce, suppressed love to the surface as the launch countdown ticks away.
In a world run by Eva Stratt, your frantic, behind-closed-doors grab for intimacy feels less like a generic romance and more like a desperate, clawing war against a terminal diagnosis. But the vacuum of space has a brutal way of correcting the timeline, and when the automatic alarms finally shatter the heat of the moment to leave you blinded by sterile medical bays, you’ll realize that the mind is a terrifyingly elegant machine—and some memories are a sanctuary, while others are a trap you are entirely alone in.
In the mix of it all, there's Ryland, and there's Rocky. And there's space. Too much space.
