Summary
Clove shuffled over and flopped like a boneless sack into Omen’s lap. The nightmare walker was startled by little old Clove! Adorable. Realising that Omen hadn’t been privy to their daydreaming and that this was probably really really odd for him Clove struggled to fit such a vast breadth of thought into words. So many images, so much promise.
Instead they simply admitted “I don’t want to be alone. I want whatever you are and we are to stay. You just cannae leave me and beyond that… just don’t leave me.”
“I won’t.”Eternity is a long time. In fact it's probably the biggest bitch about the whole immortality thing. The landscape changing beneath your feet, horizons your recognised crumbling and every friends memory inevitably doing the same. In fairness, Clove hasn't been immortal for a very big slice of that eternity, they should still be in the celebration stage if it were not for their long goods read list and endless imagination.
Clove can't find joy in the now because they are too readily prepared for the part that sucks later.
But then by chance, they met a ghost and the suddenly the idea of everlasting life finally had some fun to it. -

The whole situation seemed so stupid, how was this a gift to him, it was still the usual boy Gorou he didn’t have real boobs or real curves. Maybe-
“Where’s Gorou!? You heard me! Answer me right now! Where is he and what have you done with him?!!” …This big silly puppy was the cutest thing to ever exist. “Hey!! Don’t you laugh at me, do you know who I am, I’m Arataki Itto and don’t think because you have insightful thoughts and a caring attitude that I won’t kick you and your kimonos’ ass!!”
