Summary
[Time passes oddly. Between one second and the next, Sokka has the Fire Lord pinned to the wall with his hands around the bastard’s throat. Golden eyes (one gold eye, his mind whispers) widen in shock.
“Sokka?” he chokes out. And then he smiles.
What the fuck?
“Sokka, I—”
Sokka slams his head against the wall, once, twice, and the smile wipes off his face. Good.
“What,” Sokka bites out, “have you done to my sister?”]
Or:
An injury leaves Sokka with amnesia. His last memory is of the failed invasion, of leaving his father behind in enemy territory on the Day of Black Sun. Of hopelessness. Rage.
But then he wakes up, and the war is over. Suddenly, he must come to terms with the fact that years have passed, and that he's somehow the Southern Water Tribe Ambassador to the Fire Nation. He is also supposedly friends with banished-Prince-turned-Fire-Lord Zuko, of all people. Close friends.

Summary
Borderland started as a manga.
An anonymous project Arisu created to pour dangerous fantasies onto paper — and keep his mind under control.
But when he opens his eyes and finds himself inside that world, the line between fiction and reality shatters.
Now, trapped in a place too cruel to be a dream and too familiar to be a coincidence, Arisu tries not to lose himself… and tries not to draw attention.
The problem is that Chishiya is watching.

Arisu groaned as the blond man poked deeply at a bruise at the top of his thigh.
“Yeah, you’re right, it would have been better if the less painful ones were on your torso.”
Arisu snapped his eyes to Chishiya. “You think you can read my mind now?”
“I don’t think, I know. You’re so easy to read. It’s like you’ve never been hurt or tried to protect yourself.” Chishiya’s touch got lighter, exactly as it had earlier, travelling delicately between the purple marks that scattered his legs. “Why do you do it? Why are you like this when it could kill you in an instant?”
(After the Ten of Hearts, Arisu, Usagi, Chishiya and Kuina spend the night in a lonely appartment. Chishiya takes care of Arisu's injuries and is strangely soft with him.)
