Summary
Obscure experiments, drugs of unknown purpose, genetics, quirks, and themselves as lab rats. It's more than what they've dealt with most of the time as hero-students and hapless students in class 1-A. This is a different, more realized kind of evil. It's human experimentation. Deliberate experiments. On them.
Raising his eyes to Todoroki, he read in them the same thought that echoed in his own head.
They're in serious, very serious shit.

Summary
He smirked boyishly and he leaned forward with a glint in his eyes. He asked in a low voice, “And on the eighth day?”
Sunday blinked.
“And ... on the eighth day?”
The man across him grinned wide and nodded.
How absurd! The angel puffed out a laugh, “There is no eighth day!”

Summary
Sometimes, birds will pluck their own feathers out of stress. If the damage is severe enough those feathers won’t grow back.
Clipped birds, specifically, often develop feather plucking issues.
Clipped birds can’t fly, they can’t wake up from the dream, no matter how hard they try. Not like they want to wake up either way…
The Dreammaster is a smart man, he knows how to make others want to stay in the dream.
“The best way to keep a prisoner from escaping is to make sure he never knows he’s in prison.”
As long as the prisoner has a false sense of security and superiority, he won’t understand the situation. He won’t want to escape. And he’ll blame himself for whatever goes wrong.
Isn’t that right, Sunday?

Summary
Despite his misgivings, his mind strays, to a scene earlier, vividly in his mind.
Gallagher’s reverent murmurs against his skin, his lips on his chest, the way he’d taken his pleasure from Sunday, traced his sides like he was something to be admired, something to be worshipped—
Heat blooms in Sunday’s cheeks, and he turns his face aside, wings hiding the lower part of his face.
