    Wei Wuxian was supposed to start university.

    Instead, he wakes up inside a poorly written historical romance novel as the villain destined for disgrace.

    In the original story, the proud noble Wei Wuxian loses his childhood fiance, the feared Grand Commander Lan Wangji, to a fragile illegitimate son of the emperor, Mo Xuanyu and falls into jealousy, scandal, and ruin. Knowing exactly how badly things end, Wei Ying decides on one simple survival strategy:
    -Stay out of the plot.
    -Avoid the male lead.
    -Survive long enough to live peacefully.

    We all know that's not how it ends.
