Summary
After miraculously getting alive to the servers room, the former employee faints out of exhaustion and the severity of his wounds after being impalated by the Prototype, almost drowned in Poppy Gel, and then electrocuted by Giblet.
It would be so pathetic of him dying like that, wouldn’t it be? For that reason, Harley Sawyer instructs Giblet on how to keep him alive at least for a couple hours more. Not due to a selfish desire― not entirely― but because he couldn’t believe someone that made it up alive with “him” would die so easily.
Transferring his consciousness to Glowby, Dr. Sawyer is able to measure the former employee’s vitals when Glowby was attached to his wrist instead of the Grabpack. This way he would be entirely conscious if the employee was about to faint again. Also, it was an easier way for him to pass up as a simple, innocent Glowby toy if the Prototype finds them again.
