Would he really believe him or would he be like Todd and Drake say and end up as a liar? His father didn't even know of his existence until three years ago when he arrived at the mansion. He never wanted him, he had never shown it. Maybe he knows and doesn't even care. He has no one to turn to. He's in a bottomless pit that he blames himself for creating.
