Summary
This AU diverges where Season 4 ends.
This series' first two stories were written between the seasons; the first between S4 and S5, and the second between S5 and S6. For those two stories, the series is part 'catch up to the things I didn't predict', part 'move forward with the things I did predict', and quite a bit of 'but what were the other players doing on the board while these events unfolded'. There are a few OCs here and there, but I mostly stick to the main cast.
From the third fic onward, I treat the canon as a loose guideline of 'what the VLD universe as a whole is dealing with'. So you can figure there'll be some stuff to do with Lotor, and some stuff to do with Sendak and Earth, and some stuff to do with Honerva. Probably. Don't expect much of any of it to go the way it did in canon.
The first two installments are ship-free, but from the third fic onward it's better described as slow-burn sheith; I'll be adding other pairings as I decide how they would play out given the scenarios I've set up.
If you don't ship it, whatever it is, that's fine. There is zero need - I repeat, zero - to tell me that.

This is a fantastic series. I enjoyed the whole crazy ride. Matt/Lance was hard but understandable. Your world building was epic! The whole Pidge story and details were so well thought out. Ryou was just sweet. Thank you for such a massive awesome epic tale!

It was that unyielding type of faith Price had in him, the kind that made Simon think he could do impossible things. He’d spent years as a sniper, an assassin, a ghost on the field, but this — something so vulnerable and fragile, a peek at the childhood Simon had endured, was probably the most frightening of all.
