He was born and raised in the Arabian Brotherhood, with duties and expectations upon his shoulders high enough to rival the Himalayas itself.
He could succeed—no, he had to succeed in this mission. This was his only chance to redeem his mistake and prove to the Brotherhood that he was still trustworthy and loyal to the Creed, and to their cause. He must end this once and for all and come out of the battle victorious.
Damian must kill Templar Grand Master Tim Drake.

Summary
Tim rides his bike, his small legs aching and his breath a ragged gasp by the time he reaches Gotham City proper. His legs shake and his heart slams as he steps off his bike, adrenaline shooting through him as he sees the dark buildings looming overhead and seriously questions whether or not this was a good idea.
Then the screaming starts. It’s distant, accompanied by the sounds of explosions and a loud voice declaring some villain or other as the new ruler of Gotham, but Tim doesn’t care about any of that.
He creeps closer, keeping to the shadows and hugging the side of the nearest building despite the grime which rubs off on his small white hands and the rough brick that catches and tears at his soft clothes. The screaming grows louder.
Tim closes his eyes and remembers. It hurts, but it feels good.
He can’t stop poking at it.

Jack Frost jerks in surprise, eyes widening as he spins to face him. “Quit calling me that!” he orders, barely resisting the urge to stamp his foot. “I’m Jack Frost!”
“Could’ve fooled me,” Robin says, flashing a lopsided grin. “And the other heroes. And the other villains, come to think of it. And the newspapers. After all, the only thing anyone ever hears you called is—”
“Snowflake?” Mr. Freeze’s voice carries across the night air. “Snowflake, are you alright?” He sounds worried, which is silly because Jack Frost is perfectly capable of taking care of himself.
Still, there’s a little thrill of warmth and happiness at the concern. It’s nice to have someone who cares.

Unapproachable.
That was the way Damian would describe Tim Drake. He belonged on another level and Damian could not help but be addicted to the only way he had found to make him lose control.
It was also how Tim would talk about Damian Wayne. He felt as if he was from another dimension and Tim’s curiosity would make him do anything to get more glimpses of Damian’s real self.
If only the other wouldn’t be so easy to hate (and to love).
