Summary
Cora comes back a couple of minutes later, swinging her hips like the cat who got the cream. He does not foresee good news incoming.
“Stiles, remember how I said you'd be safer with us?” she says, all sweetness and deceit. Isaac is raising a Dorito to his mouth and she steals right out of his hand when she passes. Stiles sympathizes with his wounded yelp.
“You mean when you abducted me from the university grounds earlier today?” he says, raising a brow at her.
“Exactly.” She plops down on the couch beside him, knocking their thighs together. He peers at her with great suspicion and grabs a handful of chips to shove in his mouth before she can put her thieving ways to nefarious uses, such as pilfering the bag from him. “You’re moving in,” she announces, like it’s the most natural sequitur in the world.
“What?” he splutters, choking on his mouthful of Doritos.In which Stiles is a (not so) clueless university student who walks headlong into a werewolf turf war. Shut up, Scott. He totally saw this coming.
