Summary
Peter Parker was never bitten by a radioactive spider as a teenager. Instead, he lost a few important people, grew up, and got a doctorate in molecular biology.
At twenty-eight, he took a job at Engels Biomedical, an institute specializing in experimental cancer treatment. Three months in, he learns the samples he's been working on don't come from a corpse.
They belong to a deeply scarred terminal patient, known as Subject 061, who is still somehow alive, existing in a limbo of incomplete regeneration.

In which Peter Parker is already somewhat fucked up when he meets the mildly deranged Wade Wilson dying from cancer, and things proceed to get worse from there. This is an alternate take on the Weapon X thing.

Once the words were out and left hanging in the air, they took on the shape of a twisted setup to... a slightly unconventional romcom? Well, except no one would probably laugh at this one.Bookmarked by DoveDown
