BBC Merlin x A Knight of a seven kingdoms
I’m taking Merlin from season 4 episode 4 in a universe where the knights know about his magic and having him move to the ASOIAF universe in the worst place possible Sothoryos. They will arrive a few years before the start of a knight of the seven kingdoms and there will be some time jumps.
Just posting to see if there’s any interest in this type of fic because I couldn’t find one when I looked

By the time Hiccup realises just how badly things have spiralled out of control, he's already in too deep. Unfortunately, dragons, enemies, and weird relationships don't care whether he's ready or not.
Or: the no fun (okay, maybe a little), very bad time for Hiccup where nobody has the full answer and everybody has their own agenda.

Summary
Daeron gets the luxory of understanding one of his visions before it comes to pass for once, and tries to change something. The change comes at a cost.
"Daeron, Maekar remembered, had attempted to tackle Baelor to the ground in an uncharacteristic show of enthusiasm, but had done so at the most inopportune time, intercepting a blow meant for Baelor. Maekar had been sure, however, that his armour had protected him. Daeron had then proceeded to be almost trampled by a stampeding horse, distracting Maekar enough to give Baelor an opening and leave him off balance. Daeron had looked fine though, hadn’t looked hurt, though he hadn't gotten back up. In hindsight, this should have been the first sign to Maekar that something was wrong"

Not for Aerion, no. Nor for Egg. But Daeron had always known. Since he was small, he saw the tapestries upon the walls burn above his cradle, and he knew. Drink or delirium, it did not matter. One way or another, his visions would be the death of him.
He had not reckoned he would have to suffer more than one.
The gods want something from Daeron. They must, to have devised so exceptional a hell. For why else would they have him live these days over and over?
If they have chosen Daeron to change the future, they have chosen the wrong man. Daeron is not a hero. He never has been.
