Shadow is reeling about the sudden disappearance of Sonic, he knew he shouldn’t have left him alone. It was only for a little while, but now the Blue Blur was hurt.
And it was his fault.
He has to make sure that it doesn’t happen again, and he only knows one way to do that. He would make sure his hedgehog was safe…
Whether he liked it or not.
(PS. If y’all don’t like the title I’m more than willing to change it, I know it’s not the best after all.)
Update: I'm not super proud of the original chapters of this, it's likely that I will be rewriting them at some point in the future, but the fic will still be updated moving forward!

Summary
This is my Sonic Prime AU about Shadow being in between Shatter Spaces for a LOT longer than everyone thought he was.
The isolation got to Shadow and caused him to go insane, he was there for so long that he would take any form of comfort he could get after he got out. This came in the form of the hug Sonic gave him when they first met up, he didn’t show his obsession at first for the sake of them going home.
This is my first ao3 series and stories and in general, so sorry if it’s not all that good.
