He has forgotten her.
A Memory Loss AU, where Ted wakes at the hospital after an accident, and wonders why the nurse has a British accent: he's supposed to start his new job as the Head Coach for AFC Richmond, next week, but it appears he's already in London.

Summary
Everyone on earth is born with a timer on the inside of their wrist. It’s small at first - barely even noticeable when you are first born, but as you grow older, you can slowly start to see the numbers trickling down. When you get a bit older, you start to get curious about the numbers staring back at you, slowly counting down each day.
Ever since Rebecca was eight, she had disliked the idea of having a soulmate. Why did she need someone to complete her? She didn’t. The fact the whole world thought she did pissed her off honestly.
Ted was different. He was a hopeless romantic, and ever since he was old enough to understand what the numbers on his wrist had meant, he tried to pinpoint the exact date of when he was supposed to meet his other half. The moment that would change his life forever. Change his life for the better.
