Charlie hadn't really considered what he was going to do with a degree in classics, but interviewing actors about film releases for Press Gauntlet magazine had not been on the list. Still, he took his job seriously and tried to do the best interviews he could
Nick has been pushed into acting from a young age by his father, but he loved it anyway. Except press interviews. If he never had to sit in a room and answer the same questions over and over again, that would make his life perfect. But one interviewer made the process slightly less awful.

Summary
Whenever Nick brings the Badgers to Lavender Fields, Danny & James are sent to Room 5, the sole downstairs guest room, for their “privacy” (i.e., so no one else has to hear their fucking at all hours of the day and night). Room 5 also happens to be inhabited by the souls of four portrait people: Angry Anne, Mistress Murder, John Edward Stabbyhands, and Frank. The first time Danny & James stay in room 5 with the portrait people is Halloween weekend the year before C. Spring first visits Lavender Fields. This is their story (tonk tonk).
Or, the portrait people voyeurism fic @polkadotkat dreamt up jokes for (and @scienceisrealyo, likely to her great regret, said she needed “like AIR”) and then @songbird made the smut happen.
