"Then what made you join Overwatch?" Hana prompted, thumb brushing against the soda can as she looked at Kiriko expectedly.
Kiriko took a deep breath, cheeks slightly puffing as she angled her head to not face Hana directly. From the look in her eyes, Kiriko could tell that she had Hana's full attention and that fact brought a slight red to climb across the back of her neck.
The truth popped in her head bluntly. It stood tall and present as much as the person who was beside her.
It was Hana Song.

Sammy smiled back and moved to cover Yaz's hands with her own. "I missed you too. Obviously. And it's still real sweet that you're doing all of this but…"
"I need to stop talking?" Yaz guessed.
"Yes! Do you have any idea how serious it has to be if I'm saying there needs to be less talking?" Sammy replied. "Seriously. Do I have to take my own shirt off?"

in the soft glow of her bedroom lamp, the girl in the fox mask doesn't seem so frightening anymore.
