His beauty is accentuated with ruby-red lipstick and rose-pink blush. Unbelievably so, his skin looks smooth like that of porcelain doll’s. It all makes his face appear so youthful—almost like a young maiden’s.
It is not wrong to say that Wei Ying is… undeniably flawless.
Yet when he speaks, the voice does not match up. It’s rich in tone, far too deep for a young, delicate woman. And that’s what confuses Jin Ling the most… he can’t wrap his head around it, no. Not when they’re standing right before him, smiling so sweetly, a picturesque image of everything the frivolous rumors described.
Jin Ling swallows uneasily, like he’s taking a hard pill. “Y-Young. Twenty, like a young woman...” he finally murmurs, reluctant to admit it.
