Ganondorf is tired of waiting. Tired of promises of power with no power in sight. After a raid that lands a new text into his eager hands, he discovers an ancient promise hidden within its pages. A promise of power.
He does NOT expect to find a blond, blue-eyed beauty playing dead in a misty forest. What in the name of Hylia has he gotten himself into?
Inspiration goes to Sands of Time by tirsynni. I’ve read this story three times and I just couldn’t help it. I wanted more. So I wrote a different story, but it’s Ganondorf/Link all the same.

Summary
Ten thousand years ago Hylia and the Warrior of Light raised an army to defeat Ganon. Link means to finish the job once and for all.
The beast dies on the grassy plains, leaking ichor into the dirt. It stinks powerfully of death, as though the very end of all things has been distilled down into one being that’s been left to rot in this fallow field.

Summary
Ganondorf has finally been defeated, but Zelda still remains trapped in her draconic form. Link is desperate to find a way to save her, and when visiting the castle to get supplies, he is shocked to find Ganon still alive, though looking a little more dragon-like. Realizing it might be possible to save Zelda, Link forces Ganon to accompany him. The two have their differences, but over time begin to grow closer to each other. Will they be able to save Zelda together, and will the others accept that this Ganondorf isn’t the same Demon King he was before?
