The words curl their way inside his chest, bounce around in there along with the familiar ache. Wilhelm. He hasn’t thought about him in a while. Has tried to keep himself busy, his mind on other topics. Where Wilhelm is? Simon doesn’t know. Wishes he did.Two years ago Wilhelm disappeared. Leaving behind a title of Crown Prince, a family in shambles and a tentative friendship built with a boy he used to love. No one has heard from him since.

Screamed as his flesh was torn apart, heard Master of Puppets in the distance and held back tears. Felt Max’s cold, small hand in his as she laid in the hospital bed. There are things that always happen, no matter how hard he tries: El doesn’t arrive in time. Eddie dies. Max is put in a coma.
Steve fails. They lose.
“Steve, how many loops have you been through?”
His head is nodding, and his eyes are watery, and Eddie has approached him like a spooked animal.
“I lost count.”
AKA: The one where Steve Harrington is stuck in a time loop, and Eddie Munson is really fucking hard to save, or: fuck Volume 2, these bitches are in love.

Steve spins on his heel, catching his balance with his palm on the doorframe. "Yeah," he responds a little too quickly.
"This might be really fucking weird," Eddie breathes an embarrassed laugh, cheeks turning pink. "Do you think… do you think you could sleep in here tonight?"
