Shane stared ahead, contemplating about something. And Ilya could tell. Because he had memorized this man beside him after years of trying to convince himself that he wasn’t in love. He had watched him whenever no one was looking. Has memorized every micro expression. Has learned every mannerism. Has learned to read every emotion on his eyes.
“Just ask Shane” He encouraged with a smile on his face. Shane huffed, mirroring Ilya’s expression before nodding his head and finally asking. “What were you thinking about? When I was inside and you were alone here.”
Ilya’s smile widens slightly as he looks at Shane. His heart aches with how much he adores this man. He never knew that he was capable of loving someone so much.
A second passed and he answered with a whisper, “My Mama”
