“Oh?” Chan asks, humor laced through his tone. Felix has only known him for a few hours, but he can hear it, the laugh he's fighting, the dimple in his cheek. “Would Hyunjinnie want to join us, then?”
Felix inhales sharply as his pulse jumps. Hyunjin’s head whirls around, eyes wide as he meets Chan's gaze. Felix can hear his own heartbeat in his ears.
“Wh– what?” Hyunjin whispers, finally letting himself look at Felix. He can't interpret what he sees in his best friend's eyes, but he hopes his own sudden anticipation isn't too apparent. “Felix?”
He releases a measured breath, praying it doesn't seem too jittery as he shrugs haphazardly. “Sure. I mean, why not? We never- uh, we've never done that, but. We're best friends, right? What. What could go wrong?”

Felix brings Chan home from the bar to get laid but accidentally ends up in his best friend and roommate Hyunjin's room—who he's in love with, by the way. What could possibly go wrong?

There was a moment of silence before Felix straightened his shoulders, raised his chin and looked at Minho - like Jeongin often told him to do, with warm, comforting touches to Felix’s shoulders and chin.
“I… I don’t understand, Hyung. Could you explain, please?” Felix asked, his voice a little stronger.
Felix truly was the bravest of them all.
“Of course, Felix. Thank you for asking.” He allowed his scent to swell with pride and happiness, to make it as obvious as he could that Felix had done good. That they wanted him to ask questions. That no matter what had happened to him before, they would do whatever it took to make him understand how valued he was.

It is not a question that they will take him in, of course. What is surprising, even to himself, is how fast they all fall for the Omega that has an undeniable strength, even if the world tried to beat it out of him.

When Felix moved to South Korea to study Social Work, he'd known that it was going to be an adventure. He'd imagined he'd meet interesting people and learn more about the culture of his great-grandparents' home country.
...let's just say that's not what happened exactly.
He had not thought his roommate would be a magical Fairy. Or that he would try to keep said magical Fairy out of trouble. Or that he would jump right into a relationship with him as soon as he figured himself out. Or that everyone else he'd meet would believe that he, too was something magical.
