Wiping information from the database doesn't account for people with an eidetic memory, like Spencer Reid, who recognises Dean Winchester on sight - well, so much for his career at the FBI. Thank you very much, Castiel.
As for the BAU, interrogating Serial Killers is their bread and butter. But what do you do when one of them is talking and awake but not breathing? This was so not in the manual.
