Summary
The water tribe siblings stand tall besides him, a stern look on their faces. They're dressed in black, no indication of their roots other than the small beads adorning their hair and the tan color of their skin.
“You're the Fire Prince, right?”.
His body clenches at the title. “Zuko”, he offers. “There's no fire prince”.
The girl’s face stiffens, but when the boy -Sokka, a memory from years ago resurfaces- speaks, his voice is softer. “Zuko”, he repeats the name, and it makes Zuko's fingers numbly tingle. He tells himself it's from the cold.
-Or, The Fire Nation loses the war before the Avatar’s return. Aang cannot restore balance without starting another one. Ergo, a blazing revolution.

Summary
"You think I hate you? You think I'd ever kill you?" Sokka holds Zuko's face in both hands, blood dripping from his lips. "I'd fall on my sword for you. I'd find you anywhere. What do you think that means?"
Rescued, but imprisoned, Zuko finds himself no further from death on a water tribe ship. Sokka, the chief, would see him bleeding out on the boards of the deck as justice. He's a fire bender, the evil of the war that his father rages through their world. Zuko hasn't been a part of that war. Not for years. Now he's thrust back into it against his will, finding himself fighting on a side he never expected to be a part of. Maybe he'll find a cause worth fighting for; someone worth fighting for.

“Exactly,” Logan growled, refusing to let Xavier see just how much that bothered him. “That’s why the kid’s dangerous.”
“That’s why he needs help,” Xavier pressed gently, as if he was chiding Logan for his hostility. “And that is why you are the best equipped to help him.”

In which Logan accidentally volunteers to help babysit the latest addition to the Xavier Institute, a strange new student that was quite literally left on their doorstep. However, this student isn't quite a "student" at all; it is a weapon left without a handler. Unfortunately, the new mutant now thinks Logan is his handler. Even more unfortunately, Logan knows more about this situation than he would like to.AKA an AU that embellishes on the fact that Kurt was being used as a weapon by Stryker at the beginning of X2, turning the situation into a recovery scenario that ends up helping both Kurt and Logan overcome their Weapon X conditioning.

Silence, aside from the background noise. “I won’t say that I haven’t,” Aventurine says more soberly. “Are you offering to show me? Or are you just conducting a survey?”
So easy. Of course Aventurine wants to have sex with him. Sunday will rub it in his face once Aventurine has arrived. “Go back to your room and think of me. I’ll bring you here.”
Sunday accidentally finds his way into an area of the Dreamscape that vies for his self-control. He can only think of one person who might be able to help him out.

Haruka’s hand squeezes at his wrist as she stands behind him. Kiryu knows she’s seen the pallor of Majima’s skin, the shallow cuts at his shoulder.
“Hiya, kiddo,” Majima says, his words dry.
There’s a brief pause. Then:
“I don’t know what you did,” Haruka says, and Kiryu tilts his head back to just barely catch the pointed look in her eyes, “but you deserve it.”-
It's spring 2006, and Kiryu finds an injured Majima.
