Four months. Twenty weeks. One hundred and twenty days. One thousand hours. It didn't matter which way you looked at it, this was what every cadet had to endure, commit to, sacrifice for, to become a police officer. Nick Wilde believed it would be a walk in the park. Instead, it became one of the most difficult journeys of his life.
Training at the Academy was a non-stop battle. He had to fight obstacle courses, fight his classmates, fight to stay awake, fight the feelings he was developing for his future bunny partner, and fight to hold onto the animal he thought he was - the only animal he'd ever known. But in order to become the fox he was always meant to be, he has to let go.
Not all battles are meant to be won.

Summary
A one-shot about... one shot.
After the reptile case, Nick and Judy need to go through a medical checkup at the hospital. When Nick is forced to confront one of his residual childhood fears, Judy is ready to help him through it. But in a twist, he isn't the only one averse to getting jabbed.
As it turns out, being nearly killed by a crazed lynx holding a syringe is more than enough to create a new, mildly violent phobia. Who knew?
