Summary
If you were sent galaxies away to an earth-like planet, drowning in the throws of a human:monster war - what would you do?
Starling has no idea what she'd do. After being stripped from her home, her family and her life on earth, she's thrown out of a cryo pod and onto the charred ground of Sera, alongside other not-really-volunteers to aid the last few humans of Sera in the war against the locust.
Will she crumble under the pressure of concrete, boots and literal other-worldly expectations - or will she rise to the occasion, defeat locust, find love with a certain sgt. traitor and live a life of love and new-found hope on this planet where she's technically an alien to?

A poorly written canon x author insert fic where I badly detail how or if I could survive on the Planet of Sera and possibly kick it with Delta and manage aromantically-romantic intentions with Marcus Fenix (yes the crush I have on him is disgusting, I know).
