Summary
Ember has been having a rough time adjusting to no longer having the fate of the world on her shoulders. So she asks her friends, Ampere-19 and Bones, to do her a favor. This favor boils down to drugging her, stripping her, and cutting her up while she's awake, all to help her readjust to the sudden lack of world-saving responsibilities. Because that's a normal thing to ask. What's a little vivisection between friends?
Unsure if/how it should be tagged, but it is meant to be like. Con non-con adjacent? Like there's no sex but she is naked and there's a lot of "oh you're so powerless" and Ember isn't quite sure where she is for a moment in the beginning. So just be careful

Time will tell how we are remembered for our actions in the Blight, of few things I am certain but that is one.
I believe us to have been heroes, but I am sure many others would disagree, they deem us demons in our own right even now.
But we did what we could, saved everyone we could, fought bravely and did our duties.
