Well, it was a struggle (writing space stuff is HARD man) but here it is. My planned 15k fic that turned into 40k. This is for the AFTG Reverse Big Bang and I had the WONDERFUL experience of working with the lovely EstaVS, who is the artist who chose this prompt and created some amazing art (links below). This is a Firefly/Serenity AU that does follow the plot pretty closely, so if you don’t want some spoilers feel free to check out the series/movie first. But no knowledge of them is needed to read this fic.
