Summary
Millicent has a dilemma and she needs her Empire safe and she needs it fast.
Unfortunately, her prized pets Kylo Ren and General Hux are acting out and have never got on, which puts them both in danger. It makes for quite the headache. As Empress of the strange floating leviathan they all inhabit, she has lost her patience with them both and it's time to instigate Operation Pet Union. She's on a time limit, after all.
Alternative: Kylo Ren can't seem to stop Hux's cat from following him around and doing very, very strange things.
Alternative Alternative: Hux cat has betrayed him and seems to prefer Kylo Ren's company, of all people. Is this a plot of Ren's? It's driving Hux mad.

Summary
Efnisien ap Wledig is an omega born into an all-alpha family. Abandoned by his birth mother and raised by his aunt, he is subjected to a lifetime of medical experimentation and brainwashing and believes himself to be an alpha. But the experiments begin to fail, and he is abandoned yet again to an Omega Rehabilitation Facility, where the family expects he will be retrained into the 'perfect omega' and placed in an arranged marriage, or be eliminated if this is no longer possible.
The Facility don't know about the experiments, and Efnisien doesn't even know why he's there in the first place, since he's an alpha...isn't he? One thing's for certain, he definitely doesn't need an alpha companion, no matter what the staff at the facility seem to think.

I fell into this on the recommendation of a friend and was a little concerned when I saw the wordcount because my attention span is very short. I have never regretted this read nor been disappointed and I was instantly hooked. This is a fantastic piece of writing and as a serial each chapter is wonderful and considered. It doesn't FEEL long when you read it. Some long fics can feel exhausting, this DOES NOT and leaves you hungry for the next chapter. The characters are complex and interesting and everyone is treated as a human, with layers.
