Not that she owed Sirius a single thing. Quite the opposite, really. But Sirius could not give a shit. If she had to be at this gala, so would Nakayama.
Her voice came out sharper than it should have as she pushed open the door with such force. “Nakayama? Where the hell were you? I've been looking all da—”
And her voice died out just as quickly.
