Summary
When newly ascended Alpha Lord Vegas Theerapanyakul discovered yet another mistake of his late father's, he was sure nothing good could come of it. Pete had lived a quiet life as a weaver with his grandmother on the edge of their village ever since his father abandoned him as a child. When his grandmother fell ill, the last thing he needed was the younger brother of the regional lord showing up on their doorstep claiming his good-for-nothing father had sold his hand in marriage for drinking money.
The plan is to put an end to their sham of a betrothal and go about their lives.

“And I can’t be the boss?” asked Kinn, Vegas snickering quietly when he listened to Kinn, who really didn’t like Vegas being pronounced as the boss.
Kinn, the head of the main family, respected among their people, was now… about to throw a tantrum.
“You can be our butler!” suggested the other one.
